American rock musician Iggy Pop has released the album "Rare Trax," featuring archival demos, remixes, and covers. The compilation, available in digital, CD, and vinyl formats, includes 18 tracks and additional commentary by musicologist Dave Thompson. This release offers a broader perspective on Iggy Pop's music, moving beyond his typical "shirtless punk rock messiah" image. It follows his successful 19th solo album, "Every Loser," released in January, which received positive reviews from critics and charted in 14 countries.
